THE SPIRT OF THE 80’s Is alive and well,” Music Connection magazine April 2015. This was the last live review from Music Connection,and a good one from the prior band Johny T and Metal Mike worked together in as Slick N Wicked. Other than the first great review not long before from live Wire magazines review on the bands show with Udo Dirkschneider. Metal Mike and Johny T decided to make some changes and started chopping wood in the rehearsal studio and then the recording studio and created Sawduzt. One of the Sawduzt debut record tracks,Alchemy,gives an insight to the bands entity of turning nothing into something. Or as the song goes,”Turning Metal into Gold” the other songs include “Frying Pan” Deal with the Devil” Pain and Pleasure”and a nice power ballad “Heart of Stone” Not long ater the recording of the Sawduzt record Metal Mike recruited long time friend and band member Brian Spangenberg that worked with Mike in a previous band together. Sawduzt has currently been opening for only national acts since the beginning,like Dirkschneider,Green Jelly.,Pretty Boy Floyd and most current with Angel,June 16th 2018. After witnessing the audiences over whelming response from the shows and the request for cd’s for sale as they’re walking off the stage. Sawduzt knew they were on the right track. Sawduzt has been writhing new songs for the follow up record,and have had HD video shot from their recent shows. Sawduzt is now working with a DP in the motion picture industry on the Sawduzt up coming debut video. 

Sawduzt is currently in and out of the studio right now finishing up the bands second effort the Sawduzt 2 album. 

Sawduzt is looking forward to getting back out and playing live shows and maybe hitting the road this summer 2021
